The King Edward Community Centre.
Welcome to the King Edward Community Centre website. This site tells you about the Centre, what happens there every day, and how you can join any of our many groups who regularly use the Centre. The Centre is available for use 7 days a week.
All rooms are for hire and we welcome all enquiries and encourage new groups to come along.
The Annual Town Meeting was held at the King Edward Centre on Friday May 20th at 7pm. This year's theme was 'Putting Chatteris on the Map' and representatives of the Community Planning Team talked about progress in drawing up a new town plan.
The larger organisations in the town were also invited to give a short talk about their current schemes and activities, and many organisations brought along leaflets promoting their clubs.
The Centre has extended its Premises Licence to stay open later (now we are licensed to stay open until midnight) and private parties/functions can now bring and serve alcohol providing they manage that themselves with a Personal License holder.
So, if you would like to hold a private function at the Centre please call the Centre Manager Ann Grainger on 01 354 692658 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Centrepoint, the magazine published by the Chatteris Community Centre Association, contains news of meetings and events held at the King Edward Centre and in Chatteris generally.
Normally published on a quarterly basis and distributed to over 4000 homes in Chatteris you can now access copies from this web site.
