What the King Edward Centre offers -
The Centre has its own dedicated car park for the users with 16 clearly marked places plus 2 more for disabled drivers.
Should you wish to cycle to us then you will be able to lock your bicycle to our secure cycle racks.
For those visitors who use wheelchairs we have ensured all areas of the Centre are accessible, there are no stairs or steps to be negotiated.
We now have a well equiped kitchen which has a cooker, microwave oven, kettles, and a refrigerator/freezer - and naturally we also have a large selection of cups and saucers. All these facilities are available for use by the users of the Centre.
Although the Centre itself does not stock or sell alcohol we do have an alcohol licence. This therefore enables our users to supply and sell their own alcoholic drinks under the supervision of a Personal Licence holder they must nominate.
(Of course alcohol may be served at private functions free of charge without the need of a Personal Licence holder).
For those users who wish to deliver computer driven presentations we can now provide a laptop, remote controller, projector, and stand. You just need to bring your presentation along on CD.
All the above - and more - are available for use by the users of the King Edward Centre. For more information please ring our Centre Manager Ann Grainger on 01 354 692658.
