New Management Team 2018

The autumn of 2018 brings changes to the KECC management team. Our long time Centre Manager Ann Grainger is leaving after many years at the KECC and will be replaced by Anne Wells who many local people will know through her association with St John Ambulance. 

John Bowers, the Deputy Manager / Caretaker is also leaving us and will be replaced by Amy Carney who is another widely known Chatteris resident. 

We are all grateful for the great work Ann Grainger and John Bowers have done at the Centre and wish them well for the future. Both Anne Wells and Amy Carney take up their positions on 06 August 2018 – we look forward to their joining the KECC team.


The quarterly magazine produced by the KECC Trustees and delivered to upwards of 5,000 local dwellings – has a new editor. Ben Seward, a new KECC Trustee, will be taking over this task from Chris Pope who still retains his chairmanship of the KECC Trustees.

A new e-mail address has been created for the collection of articles for entry into Centrepoint: Ben is keen to start editing the September issue of Centrepoint, so please send your articles to the new email address as soon as you have them.

Extended Premises Licence

The Centre has extended its Premises Licence to stay open later (now we are licensed to stay open until 11 pm) and private parties / functions can now bring and serve alcohol providing they manage that themselves with a Personal License holder.
