What the King Edward Community Centre has to offer:
The King Edward Community Centre has its own dedicated car park for the users of the centre.
There are a total of 18 spaces, with 16 standard car parking place, plus 2 additional spaces for disabled drivers.
Should you wish to cycle to the King Edward Community Centre rather than drive or walk, then there cycle racks provided to enable you to lock your bicycle securely.
All bicycles are left at their owners risk.
For those visitors who use wheelchairs, we have ensured that all areas of the King Edward Community Centre are fully accessible.
There are no stairs or steps to be negotiated.
We have a well equiped kitchen which has a cooker, microwave, kettles, and a fridge / freezer. We also have a large selection of cups and saucers.
All of the kitchen facilities are available for use by the users of the Centre. Please note on some occasions the kitchen may be hired out to a certain group/user and if this should happen then we can provide an urn, with cups and saucers in your hired room.
Although the Centre itself does not stock or sell alcohol, we do have an alcohol licence.
This enables our users to supply and sell their own alcoholic drinks under the supervision of a Personal Licence holder which they must nominate.
Alcohol may be served at private functions free of charge without the need of a Personal Licence holder.
For those users who wish to deliver computer driven presentations, we can provide a projector, stand and a screen. All you need to bring along to your presentation is your laptop.
All the above facilities are available for use by the users of the King Edward Community Centre. For more information please ring our Centre Coordinator on 01354 692658.
